First day and stuff

Wednesday was Mika's first day of kindergarten. She was a little apprehensive at first, there was a tear or two, but she quickly adapted. She loves it now, and loves her teacher. They seem to play more than anything, but do a little bit of drawing and tracing in between. She was quite lucky in that one of her friends, Joshua, is in the same kindergarten class than her. They've known each other since they were babies.

Camping & More
Mika and Camila went to the Adventure Park this weekend. This is a place in Berkeley where kids can build and paint and play at their own peril. They had a lot of fun and came home filthy.
We went parking last weekend - a first for me - and the kids had a lot of fun. Here is Camila touching a fish some other kids had caught.
Mike picked a lot of blackberries for the kids, this was the result.
Did I say Camila had a great time?
Here is our tent, we bought at at Target for less than $50. It was quite comfortable.
