Everybody had a great time at the county fair, until it was time to got to bed. The kids stayed up past 10pm and that was not good.

Yes, the food was good, but I'm tired.

I'm ready to ride!

Mika loved the fireworks on the opening night - for a while anyway.

Watch me, Daddy!

I like sitting on Aunt Kathy's lap while watching the Village People.

Mika was very excited to see the Village People

Sometimes, nothing can stop a little girl from napping.

That concert left me wide awake.

When I get older, I want to go on those rides.

You want to drive with me?

Look into my eyes and feel the power of my cuteness.

We're on the train!

Well I can't get out this way.

I bet there won't be any monsters in this haunted house.

Look what I can do if you leave me alone for a few minutes with some lipstick.

Pttthhhhtttt!

Let's go in the water!

Ooohhhh....That's cold!

See how I can throw rocks into the ocean?

I'm taking my baby on a walk to the library!

Playing in her room

Today she insisted she sit down on the stroller next to her little friend
Camila is becoming more active all the time. She grabs at everything she can, she likes to play with toys (specially those hanging around her), and as soon as you put her down on her back she turns around. She loves people and interaction.

Our little firegirl

I left her lying on the bouncer - this is how I found her.
Camila is beginning to demand more and more of her environment: more sounds, more colors, more textures and more stimulation.

Don't just sit there - talk to me.

Wow....this....is.....so.....cool.
Mika had her second helicopter ride and has been telling everyone about it. After the ride, she wanted to go again. As usual, she had a great time, but was so tired that she fell asleep before we got out of the parking lot.

Isn't a helicopter ride supopsed to be more exciting?

The helicopter is too loud when the door is open - so hurry up and take the picture!

So how do you start this thing?

This is a cute little airplane - that does mach 2.

Close the door - I'm driving to San Francisco.

Can I lie down here?

This is worth climbing that rope and getting past the scary Marine.

Being a kid is hard work: so little time....so much cotton candy.
The girl is fearless. From climbing any and all playground equipment to spiders, snails, banana slugs, and even bees, she'll pet them or hold them if she can catch them.

Can't this thing go any higher?

I'm on my castle.

How's this for a smile?

This looks like a good place to rest.

It won't be long before I can ride this motorcycle.

This is the perfect weather for snail hunting.
Here are some pictures to satisfy your hunger for cuteness...

Will someone please clean my nose....please?

Aren't I dreamy?

I love playing with my sister.

Don't call child protective services just yet - just take away that red stamp from my sister!
Last weekend, the Chabot Space and Science Center had a fund-raiser that included all-you-can-eat Dreyer's ice cream. What three-year-old could resist that?

Now that's what I call a bubble!

Here fishy fishy fishy....

Look at how tall my towers are.

He better make this a good giraffe.
Camila continues in her quest for mobility, she rolls to her tummy all the time but she can't roll back to her back yet. She's less of a talker and much more of a shrieker now. She regales us with smiles all the time, but she insists on being estimulated.

I'm a cutie pie, what can I say?

Come on, say something funny!

A girl has got to dance...

Learning to float in swimming class

At the park, Joshua pushes her swing

Going up a jumper at the Greek Festival in San Jose

and then coming down

Doing crafts is fun!

Now let me sleep!
Camila is changing daily, she's very interested in people and follows us with her eyes as we move around, she's manipulating objects and playing with her hands and feet. After a couple of weeks of disturbed sleeping (teething) she's back to waking up twice a night, but putting her to sleep is a pain.
Michaela continues to be her sweet self. She's now taking swimming lessons and we're going to the park, the library or in a fieldtrip weekly. These are some pictures from the weeks past.

I love how she looks in this onesie we got for Nikki for Xmas

I'm even color-coordinated with the bed!

Warm under the blanket that Kathy knitted

I will climb

and I will get to the top!

Still too little to listen to daddy read

I'm woman, hear me scream!

Fun with photoshop (picassa actually)

Don't pick me up as if I was a sack of potatoes!

A sad face can break a heart

I only like my swing right after I wake up now.

I LOVE Olivia
Mika's old swimsuit was too small, so she got a new one and she just had to put it on as soon as we got home, even though we weren't going swimming. We also went to a new park, where she had a blast.

It's tricky to ride this thing when your legs aren't long enough.

La la la.....

I'm ready for action!

Come on...you can ride too.

Round and round and round....this is fun!

What's going on over there?

This is the first thing I was able to manipualte with my hands.

If you look at me and talk to me, I'll smile back at you.
