Having a toddler is never knowing where anything within her reach will end up. Blocks in the kitchen cabinets? Sure. Old shower head in the living room? You bet. Books in the bath tub? Of course. Toothbrush in the kitchen? Yep. For Halloween, we went trick-or-treating around the block. With Mom, she managed to go to two houses. Dad tried again and made it around the block. At first, she didn't want to walk up to people's houses. But when she realized that people would give her shiny packages of candy, she was much more willing. She would never say anything once somebody opened the door - not a hello, trick-or-treat or thank you. But she would reach into the mass of candy and grab herself a piece of candy and put it in her little cauldron of candy.
