I don't understand how some parents don't read to their children. Michaela will grab a book, walk to us, and shove the book in our face repeatedly until we read the book to her. Then she'll try to turn the pages before we finish reading the page, go away and do something else, or quickly find another book for us to read. Michaela is fascinated by her new-found ability to walk backwards.
